Processed to reveal the natural beauty of the tree.
Rough shaped and sealed allowing the wood to dry slowly to minimize cracking.
The drying process takes 6 months to over a year depending on the size of the piece.
When dry, final shaping and finishing can be done.
When completed, this functional art can be used in your home for generations.
Bowl Care
If properly cared for this piece will last for years, please:
*Do not put in the dishwasher.
*Hand wash only with as little amount of liquid detergent as possible.
*Do not use bleach or harsh chemical detergents.
*Wash directly after use.
*DO NOT soak in water or expose to heat.
*Do not freeze.
*Dry using a cotton cloth right after washing.
*A food safe cutting board solution or a product like Feed-N-Wax can be used to freshen up the apprearance of the bowl.
* Although this is meant to be functional art, liquids like salad dressings may contain ingredients that cause staining of the finish.

I list my items by general size. Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large. Actual measured sizes are listed in the description of each item. If more detailed information is needed on any item, just send me a note.
Pricing is based on size, the type of wood used and the figure in the wood.
Finishes Used
There are many options for finishing a wood turned object. Follow the link below to a site that does a great job breaking down the differences in finishing products. I use a combination of finishes depending on the type of object. On all items I use a penetrating, drying oil. Items that are more decorative will be finished with a surface sealer for additional protection and shine.

We do not accept returns, but we do accept exchanges for store credit.
We will exchange for the price of the item you purchased minus shipping charges we paid for the original purchase and you pay return shipping. Please contact us before you exchange an item. Items returned for exchange must arrive in their original condition (having not been used), otherwise you will be responsible for the loss in value. If your package arrived to you damaged, please contact us immediately and we will make arrangements for the return and replacment.
